 A beautiful wall mural doesn’t begin with the final finish. It begins with a raw board, a carefully developed design, and a skilled team that transforms an idea into a work of art.

At Kalasamskruthi Arts, every mural goes through a detailed process where technology and traditional craftsmanship come together.

1. Design & Concept Development 🎨

Every mural starts with the design. We study the theme, proportions, composition, facial features, ornamentation, and overall placement to create a design that works beautifully as a wall installation.

2. Preparing the Raw Board 🪵

The selected HDHMR board is prepared according to the required mural dimensions. Proper sizing and surface preparation are essential for achieving accurate detailing during the carving process.

3. Digital Design to 3D Relief 💻

The approved artwork is converted into a detailed 3D relief model. Depth levels are carefully developed to create realistic curves, proportions, and dimensional features.

4. CNC Carving ⚙️

The 3D design is transferred onto the HDHMR board using precision CNC carving technology. This stage creates the primary relief structure while maintaining the details and proportions of the original design.

5. Hand Finishing & Detailing ✋

CNC carving creates the foundation, but craftsmanship brings the mural to life.

Our artisans carefully refine the carved surface, improve curves, sharpen details, correct transitions, and enhance important elements such as faces, ornaments, clothing, and decorative patterns.

6. Sanding & Surface Refinement ✨

The mural is thoroughly sanded and refined to achieve a clean and smooth surface. Every section is inspected to ensure that the relief has the desired depth and visual quality.

7. Final Finishing 🎨

After detailing and refinement, the mural receives its final finish according to the project requirements. This stage enhances the depth, texture, and overall appearance of the artwork.

8. Quality Inspection 🔍

Before the mural leaves our workshop, we carefully inspect the complete artwork for:
